What You Can Expect at WHF

3D Archery Ranges – Test your aim and accuracy at a variety of challenging targets.
Elk Calling Contest – Show off your skills in calling in one of the most majestic animals of the wilderness.
Pack-Out Challenge – A simulation of a real pack-out of a mule deer and elk. Contestants will haul out all the legal meat required after harvesting a big game animal, as well as the weapon of harvest and the animal’s head to complete the challenge.
Kids’ Activities – Bring the little ones for fun, interactive outdoor experiences.
Food Trucks & Live Entertainment – Enjoy delicious food, music, and entertainment while mingling with fellow outdoor enthusiasts.
Plus, we’ve got you covered on accommodations. The Raton, NM event offers lodging and camping on-site, making it easy for you to stay and enjoy the full experience. At the other locations, there are plenty of nearby options for camping and lodging so you can make the most of your weekend.
