Get your dancing shoes ready! The 8th Annual Gate City Music Festival (GCMF) is coming our way. The annual GCMF is a fun, praised event that will be taking place on Labor Day Weekend, Sept. 2-3.
This year's headliner: Mark Wills
Join us for an exciting weekend in the Gate City of Raton along with featured Headliner Mark Wills at the Historic Shuler Theater on Sunday evening. As always, Will and Crystal Yates will be here to kick off the headliner, including, Colfax Reunion.
The whole family can partake in fun activities throughout the weekend, and enjoy free live music on Historic First Street. Catch the musical acts of Gary Reynolds & The Rough Riders Band, Secondhand, CappTon Reid, Gonzalo, as well as returning local favorite Sister Mary Mayhem.
GCMF Sneak Peak
Not only will there be live music, but unique vendors, delicious food and drinks, and a DJ present downtown. During the day there will be a Kids Zone, Mechanical Bull, and Santa Fe Axe Throwing.
Raton is located at the foot of the Rocky Mountains in Northeastern New Mexico along I-25, which makes for the perfect wild west backdrop for concerts, plenty of outdoor recreation opportunities, and a spontaneous Labor Day Weekend getaway. Come as a stranger, and leave as family.
